Emma Tarai, MA, MT-BC

Emma has been a board-certified music therapist since 2016 after completing her equivalency program at University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. Emma also graduated from University of the Pacific with her Masters in music therapy in 2017. Emma received her undergraduate degree in music education and flute performance from the Ohio State University. She completed her internship at Morton Bakar Center in Hayward, California. Emma worked as a music therapist in multiple populations including adolescents and adults with mental health needs, the elderly population with Alzheimer’s and dementia, people with disabilities, as well as for patients on the Bone Marrow Transplant unit in Sacramento and the Bay Area, CA. Emma joined COMT October 2022 and is looking forward to contributing to the needs of the community.

 

Emma recently moved back to Ohio with her husband, two children, and dog.
