Tyler Perry, MA, MT-BC

Tyler has been a board-certified music therapist since August 2020. He earned his Masters of Arts in Music Therapy from Immaculata University, near Philadelphia, in May of 2021. Tyler completed his internship with Northbrook Behavioral Health Hospital in Camden, New Jersey, and has worked with a wide variety of clients of all ages and needs, but specializes in psychiatric populations and populations of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Tyler serves on the Association of Ohio Music Therapists, Ohio Music Therapy Taskforce, and is a member of the American Music Therapy Association. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Otterbein University and performs in various Columbus area big bands and community bands on saxophone and percussion. When not making music, he enjoys spending time hiking, cooking, and spending time with his significant other, Kailee and their two kitties.
